For many reasons it will be a harsh winter for small retailers. Therefore, businesses are doing everything possible to get people to shop online or in large stores instead of in local stores.
To that end, the Hertel Business Association has come up with a sensible way to support a larger number of people to support their local stores. The organization has teamed up with Oxford Pennant to propose a flag that can be “hidden” with various buttons. Each button shows a local store.
Here’s how it works:
- Buy a pennant hertel-ave.com. Placement begins Dec. 5 @ Spoke & Dagger Co. in their normal working hours.
- Shop for your holiday items locally, and when you spend $ 20 at Hertel Ave Businesses, you get a logo button to pick up your pennant from November 27 – December 24
- The more you buy a Hertel business, the more buttons you collect to hide your pennant, and the more chances you have to get fun gifts!
This is all part of the Association’s 2020 holiday campaign, which is designed to support in the form of customer loyalty incentives.
