The obscure building between the Mail Play Store and the Liberty Building comes out of its cocoon. New Wave Energy is carrying out facade repair work on a five-story building on Main Street 410, which it purchased in May 2018 for $ 1.35 million.
The building has 21,375 square meters. the commercial space, built in the 1930s, has changed dramatically over time. The intense exterior hides the stunning modern interior that can be seen on the property’s website. The New Wave Energy offices are located on the fifth floor of the building (below), which has been renovated along with the fourth floor. Interior renovations have also begun on the second and third floors.
From the outside, Lamparelli Construction oversees the restoration of the building’s façade. Part of the estimated cost of $ 250,000 was supported by a grant from the Buffalo Place’s New York Main Street program. The original masonry works will be restored and the features of the cornices between the second and third floors and upstairs will be rebuilt. Work on the façade at the lower levels with red brick will continue and the sales plan will be improved.
