Construction Guard: 15 Allen

Work is underway on a mixed building in front of the medical school. Allentown II Apartments is a new building at 15 Allen Street that brings apartments and retail space to the east end of Allen.

Taking into account the conditions set by the Security Council in the project, the front parts of the body of the now demolished building in this house will be re-installed under the project.

The new building includes ten apartments, a first floor business space and one of the most interesting staircases in the city (pictured below). Tan fiber cement panels are offered to match the renovated front to the level of the demolished building on the east side and only part of the west façade. The balance of the modern appendix will be gray.
