BITTERS EP04: Smoking Jacket Cocktail – Presented by KegWorks

This Bitters section is provided by KegWorks: Tools for Drinking.

Host Michelle Merlo once again went behind bars at Toutant to create a tea infusion and shared one of her favorite cocktail recipes, the Smoking Jacket. At the center of this libation is the delicate smoke of Lapsang souchong, a tea made by smoking the leaves of Chinese black tea over cypress or pine wood. The recipe can also use Seedlip Grove 42, which is a mixture of citrus to the front, oranges and spices from the line of alcoholic beverages.

The rise of Buffalo

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rice work together in a collaborative effort to capture different events and stories. These writings cannot be assigned to a single author as it is a joint effort. Often the formation of a post is started by one writer and passed on to one or more writers before the end. Sometimes at the end of one of these posts there are authorial qualities. Other times, “Buffalo Rises” is only offered as the creator of the article. In either case, the inscription is original for Buffalo Rising.
